TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Ticket payment -10 tickets Payment for cruise tickets is required in advance. We The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd do this for several reasons, to ensure that our cruises depart on time as there are no fixed telephone lines onboard and poor mobile reception.

  2. Ticket payment Private and Group bookings 10+ A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required to confirm/secure a booking. Private and group bookings require a minimum of 30 people and a maximum of 80 people. Your deposit must be paid upon booking, with final numbers and the balance of monies owing to be paid no later than 14 days before your cruise date. Should payment not b made by this date, The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd reserves the right to re-allocate the unconfirmed/unsecured tickets without notice and retain the deposit that has been paid.   3. Refunds and Reduction in group numbers The purchase of a ticket is a contractual arrangement between the purchaser and The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd. Our refund policy reflects our ability to resell the ticket within the timeframes mentioned and takes into consideration both Cancellations and the Reduction in numbers

    January - October Cruises

    within 7 days of cruise date NO REFUND

    8-30 days prior to cruise date 50% refund of monies paid

    31-90+ days prior to cruise date 70% refund of monies paid

    November - December Cruises

    within 30 days of cruise date NO REFUND

    31-90+ days prior to cruise date 50% refund of monies paid

    90+ days prior to cruise date 70% refund of monies paid

  4. Postponing due to extenuating circumstances In the case of extenuating circumstances, if postponing is required, contact our office directly 0401798088. (a 30% administration fee is applied)

  5. Standards of behavior It is our intention to provide our passengers with a safe, enjoyable and efficient service on our cruises. It is a condition of entry that all passengers agree to follow lawful and reasonable requests from the crew, and to act in a manner that is socially responsible. Failure to meet these requirements will result in the offending passenger/s being set down ashore without refund. Further, any behavior that is considered by the crew to be in breach of the law, the incident will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

  6. Cruise cancellations and schedule alterations Scheduled cruise times and routes are our best approximation and may alter slightly due to weather conditions or to accommodate special requirements for group charters. The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd reserves the right to alter scheduled cruise times due to events outside our control such as (and not limited to severe weather, flood, bushfire, mechanical faults, capacity or schedule requirements, or actions/unacceptable behavior of passengers. Should the company cancel or reschedule a cruise for whatever cause, we will notify all bookings and where possible we will transfer the full value paid for tickets to an equivalent alternate cruise. In the event of our cancelation or alteration of the cruise schedule, The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd will not be liable for expenses incurred by the ticket holders beyond the actual amount paid to the company for those cruise tickets.

  7. Liability To the extent permitted by Australian Law, The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd, it’s related entities, employees and agents shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with the cruise. The passenger releases The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd from any claim whatsoever and howsoever incurred (including but not limited to) a claim for death, bodily injury, damage or loss of property during embarkation and / or disembarkation to or from the vessel and / or at all times whilst onboard the vessel itself, unless caused by wilfull misconduct or reckless disregard of The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd. In the event of a breach of any of these terms by The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd, or failure to provide the cruise service that The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd contracted to provide, the remedy for such a breach of any term shall be limited only to the contractual value of the cruise service that was not performed by The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd, or alternately part value of the cruise service where there was partial performance of the cruise service by The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd. Any liability shall be assessed by The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd’s own value of the cruise service contractual obligations, thereof that is the subject of any claim.

  8. Drinks/Bar facilities Fully licensed bar facilities are available on board. Drinks from the bar are not included in the ticket price. A prepaid tab facility may be set up for the bar, this must be arranged in advance. The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd adheres to the principles of Responsible Service of Alcohol and where passengers appear to be approaching intoxication, further service of alcohol to that passenger will be suspended. Should drinks be served and the bill not paid The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd reserves the right to recover the unpaid drink monies from the credit card used to make the booking. The booking owner will be contacted and an invoice will be provided prior to the charges being placed.

  9. Prams and Strollers Please advise in your booking (either online or with our office) whether you will need to bring a pram or stroller onboard. Prams and strollers are admitted only where space allows.

  10. Parents and Carers Parents and Carers will supervise their children at all times. The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd takes no responsibility for injury to persons or damage to the vessel or third party property which occurs as a result of improperly supervised children.

  11. Special dietary requirements Alternatives for special dietary needs such as Gluten Intolerance, Vegetarian and Vegan are available where advance notice is provided during online booking or via contacting our office. Those with severe food allergies may be permitted to bring their own meal onboard with prior arrangement with our office.

  12. Photos and Images used for publicity By purchasing tickets and as a condition of entry to a public place, passengers acknowledge that any photos taken of them by or on behalf of the company may be used for promotional purposes.

  13. Wheelchairs/Walkers & toilet facilities Our car parking area, wharf and vessel are equipped with excellent access for walking frames, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. We have a unisex disabled toilet on the lower deck where you board the boat. Furthermore the upper deck has one male and one female toilet available.

  14. Your Privacy Your privacy is extremely important to us and we will not share any of your information with any other parties without you express permission and consent.

  15. Email Subscription By providing The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd with your email address when you book cruises, you agree that The Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) Pty Ltd may send you emails regarding your booking, as well as other cruises, special offers, services and events. All our email correspondence can be unsubscribed at any time.
